Studio DEMO x YoungArts: Atmospheres

Studio DEMO x YoungArts highlights the bold and innovative alumni of YoungArts programs who embrace NEW INC’s spirit of multi-hyphenate creative expression.

Working with volume, atmosphere, and perception, architects and artists shape environments that envelop and immerse the viewer. This conversation brings together Germane Barnes, Hanna Ali, and Felix Burrichter to explore how spatial practices construct experience. Across architecture, design, and curatorial work, they consider how form, material, and scale shape immersive environments and can shift the way we inhabit and understand space.

Studio DEMO is a live broadcast hub at the New Museum, open to drop into throughout the day and available via livestream. Featuring NEW INC's wider creative community, broadcasts take the form of talks, demonstrations, couch conversations, panel discussions, DJ sets, and more. This year, NEW INC partners with peer organizations to build thematic programming for Studio DEMO. Partners include Geidai Project, Onassis Foundation, Rhizome, Serpentine, YoungArts.
