DEMO is NEW INC’s annual multi-day festival of art, design, and technology. Rooted in the work of NEW INC members, the program brings together leading artists, designers, and creative technologists across talks, demonstrations, installations, and live broadcasts, offering a first look at new ideas as they take shape.
NEW INC is the New Museum’s cultural incubator and the first museum-led program of its kind. It supports a global network of artists, designers, and creative technologists through a membership model that combines workspace, mentorship, and a values-driven professional development program. Members use the platform to develop new ideas, projects, and businesses across disciplines.
Founded in 2014 by New Museum Director Lisa Phillips and Deputy Director Karen Wong, NEW INC is now in its twelfth year. In 2020, it launched Onassis ONX, an XR accelerator for artists, in partnership with the Onassis Foundation.
DEMO2026 runs June 3–5, 2026. Most programming takes place across these three days. Track Showcases and installations remain on view through June 10.
At the New Museum, 235 Bowery. For the first time, DEMO takes place entirely inside the Museum’s newly expanded building, now the permanent home of NEW INC.
