Studio DEMO: Simulation Theater

Available for all via livestream, Studio DEMO is a broadcast hub featuring NEW INC's wider creative community. Broadcasts take many forms, including talks, demonstrations, couch conversations, panel discussions, DJ sets, and more.

Moderated by Outland Art's Editor in Chief, Brian Droitcour, this conversation will explore theater and roleplay as original forms of simulation—including how performativity can work as a tool to rehearse new organizing models for liberation and community care. Featuring game designer Caro Murphy and theater artist/educator Tania El Khoury, the panelists will discuss how theater makers can offer audiences the conceptual building blocks necessary to imagine and play-test new futures.
