Studio DEMO: Following the Nose

Studio DEMO is a broadcast hub run in partnership with independent art publisher Montez Press Radio, inviting our NEW INC alumni and creative community for a series of live talks, demonstrations, couch conversations, panel discussions, DJ sets, performances, and more.

Language models, datasets, and archives are the fuel for today’s rapid adoption of artificially generated texts, images, and prediction engines. For the participants in this conversation, writing, video, photography, and new technologies become tools that insist on keeping Indigenous memory, protest, and language vital and part of the future. This conversation extends an ongoing dialogue between leading Indigenous writers, artists, and creative technologists focused on critical community needs within an art, technology, and design ecosystem.

Studio DEMO sessions do not require tickets and seating is on a first come, first served basis.
