Shakti Mb is a New York City-based artist working across film, software, and the web. She’s drawn to studying people and emergent social behaviors, while working ethnographically through extended observation, documentation, and staging of found material. Her work has been supported by Rhizome, NEW INC, and Emergent Ventures. Her work has screened at Science New Wave, DCTV, Anthology Film Archives, Far Rockaway Soils Festival, Millennium Film workshop, and UnionDocs. She holds an MFA in Design + Technology from Parsons School of Design.
