Kordae Jatafa Henry

Kordae Henry is a filmmaker and visual artist whose work operates at the intersection of cinema, animation, VFX, and expanded exhibition. His practice investigates visual affect as a form of worlding—using movement, sound, and ritual to construct emotional and speculative realities within Black cinematic traditions. Working across film, installation, billboards, and live performance, he is interested in how images circulate beyond the theater and how alternative distribution models reshape spectatorship. He is currently developing IF NOT NOW, ANIMALATION, and Buffalo Tears, an evolving constellation of projects exploring memory, environment, and non-human presence.
