Jeremy Kamal Hartley
Jeremy Kamal is an artist, filmmaker, and musician with a background in landscape architecture. Working across video games, 3D animation, and sound, he creates speculative environments that explore emerging cultures, technologies, and relationships to land. Through his fictional universe, Mojo, Kamal crafts modern geomyths—reimagining everyday urban rituals as powerful forces that shape landscapes, myths, and meaning.
Kamal’s work has appeared internationally at Highland Arts in Singapore, Lentos Museum of Art in Austria, the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, and others. He is a recipient of the Prix Ars Electronica 2024 Award of Distinction for New Animation and winner of the Black Public Media Pitch Black 2025 Immersive Award.
Kamal is an artist fellow at Onassis ONX and Black Public Media. As a freelance 3D artist, he has collaborated on projects for musicians and brands, including Marine Serre, The North Face, Gucci, Trippie Redd, Yo Gotti, Sa Babi, and Lil Miquela.
