Amina Hassen
Amina Hassen is an urban planner, educator, and strategist passionate about projects that center equity in the built environment. She uses research and public engagement to develop grounded strategies that make better, more connected places. She works across a range of planning, design, mobility and placemaking projects; her empathetic lens and ability to see the big picture is the throughline in her work. Amina is currently focused on developing programs that ensure marginalized communities benefit from advances in clean transportation. Amina is a board member of BlackSpace collective and a lecturer at Hunter College.
